Message from the President

 

The ARGO, was developed in 1967, and after such a long involvement in this product; for me, the ARGO still holds its magic. Every time I drive this remarkable machine deep in the woods of northern Canada, I fall in love with it all over again.

Currently, the ARGO is the most successful amphibious vehicle produced in the world in terms of units produced. After five decades of constant improvements and refinements, today's ARGO is also better than ever. Just as ARGO is extraordinary, so are our customers. One of them in particular drove the ARGO 1,000 miles across frozen Hudson Bay in January 1995. He told us that without his ARGO's reliability, he would never have been able to make that challenging journey. The unmatched versatility of our vehicles makes them fascinating. We all appreciate the challenge of continually adapting them to new uses in all parts of the world. They are used as mine sweepers by the United Nations, Defense, fire fighting and rescue units, Public services, natural resources, fishing and hunting, recreational use, etc. In summary, ODG and ARGO, is a unique company in which its great team of people, manufactures products for extraordinary people.
